For research, the most highly recommended source is Galileo.  The website is: http://www.galileo.usg.edu/high-school/clayton-k12/search/
Galileo contains multiple databases which are all highly reliable, current, and authoritative.
One of the best databases for high school students within Galileo is Britannica School High.  It provides access to articles, images, videos, and websites that support the Common Core Georgia Performance Standards.  Even at home, Galileo can be accessed directly through RapidIdentity.
If you are in a location where you need the Galileo password, it is currently: spiral

When writing research papers, students will need to cite sources correctly.  An easy way to handle citations is by using the Son of Citation Machine website: http://www.citationmachine.net/apa/cite-a-book
Students can choose the citation form required by the teacher, then just fill in the blanks, and the website generates the correct citation.

Students can access hundreds of eBooks at claytonpl.org with a public library card. Each student in need of a public library card can e-mail from the CCPS RapidIdentity Portal https://tinyurl.com/publiclibrarycard to request a digital public library card.

At the BookRix website, https://www.bookrix.com/books.html  there are eBooks for everyone.

Open Library, at https://openlibrary.org/ offers over 1,000,000 free classic literature eBook titles.
